Southern Oregon Live Steamers (7.5 inch gauge) - 9,900 feet of track, open for public rides on operating days. 3 tunnels, 4 bridges/trestles, mile long ride (9-10 minutes). Also available for birthday parties, school groups, church picnics and more.
Southern Oregon Chapter, NRHS (1:1) On display: 4 cabooses, wooden SP flanger, 1899-built hopper car, 50 ft. SP Flatcar and other items, including a restored SP Section Tool House. Currently restoring Medco No. 4, a Willamette Geared Logging Locomotive (an improvement on the Shay type) built in 1925. More equipment, including Medco #8, a Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton S-8 switcher, is stored off-site. The chapter also provides handcar and motorcar rides on 600 ft of track, to be expanded to 1200 feet soon.
Rogue Valley Model Railroad Club (HO) Located inside a large, air conditioned building, the RVMRC is building a club-sized layout named the Pacific & Eastern. The original prototype was located between Medford & Butte Falls until the early 1920s - the layout will replicate this plus a planned extension to Klamath Falls, OR.
Southwest Oregon Large Scale Trains (G-gauge) A garden railway club, they are currently building a new railroad 10 times the size of their current outdoor railroad. The new railroad will incorporate waterfalls and bridges in it's design.
Morse Telegraph Club Dedicated to keeping the tradition of Railroad Morse Code (not International Morse Code) alive, visitors can have them send telegrams between three stations (expanding to five) for no charge.
